I shall start the ball rolling once again. REFRESH, dudes.
ahhh. i badly want to blog about the whole NKF fiasco that brought me back to blogging. i have so much to say about it, it'll take ages. and i still have like tons of work left.
oh well... just a few words, i guess. i just think it's ridiculous that some people can consider an annual salary of $600,000 "peanuts" just because this fellows works in an organisation with a turnover that numbers in the millions. when $600,000 is an amount that some people may never earn even if they worked for all their lives. and if they're really so rich, why bother to lie or hide it? why not just say that yes, we already have money but we're just saving up for the future? and why not fully subsidise the treatments for the patients? and why impose strict criteria on who can received funding from NKF? it's so utterly ridiculous, sometimes.but why does he?
and i guess stuff like this makes one lose faith in some of singapore's institutions. All that money must have made people wonder, why not take some of it, since there's so much? im so utterly digusted by that. and all we,fools did was to donate and donate to win those "blings.blings"...all thanks to tcs for having perform so much!!! and thanks to tearjerkers sharan au and cao qitai for having rambles on and on and on like a spoilt recorder, repeating over and over again how they need our donations, how they are suffering, how they need our donations, 1900-112-6888, how they are suffering, how they need our donations, 1900-112-6888, 1900-112-6855, how they need our donations, please please please lighten their burdens, how they are suffering. You get the idea. Oh, don't forget the perpetual constipated look and crocodile tears that soften my mom's heart to voluntarily made so many donations call to mr nkf despite of the ridiculous escalating of those calls.
Seriously, i would rather have those monaye for my shopping spree.
i really just hope all that money is put to better use. not for unnecessary luxuries, just because they've "worked so hard" for other people. if you truly care, the only reward you would need is seeing the faces of the people whose lives you've helped saved.
not a gold-plated tap or a first class seat. some people really need to think more about the people they're supposed to be helping, and less about themselves.
thankyouverythemuch.
